About Me

Griseld Hoxha is a photographer and visual storyteller based in Durrës, Albania, known for his clean and minimalist visual approach. His work is deeply rooted in street and urban photography, where he documents everyday life through a refined balance of emotion, light, and composition.

Working primarily in black and white, Griseld creates images that feel timeless and honest, focusing on the essence of each moment. His style is observational and precise, transforming ordinary scenes into compelling visual narratives.

With a background in media and several years of professional experience, Griseld has worked as a photographer and videographer across both local and national platforms, including television and digital media. He also spent nearly three years collaborating with the Embassy of the Republic of Hungary, contributing to official and institutional visual content.

His work extends across street photography, event coverage, institutional projects, and portraiture, always maintaining a consistent visual identity and attention to detail.

Griseld’s artistic journey has been recognized through multiple national awards, including first place at Travel Fest Albania 2023 and Aktivizmi Virtual në Kohët e Pandemisë, as well as placements in the Tirana Photo Festival and other national competitions. His work has been exhibited both in Albania and internationally, including a solo exhibition in Milan.

In addition to exhibitions, he has developed original projects such as a black and white photography catalogue combining visual storytelling with urban documentation, presented in multiple languages to reach a broader audience.

His work has also received recognition from institutional figures, including the President of Albania and international representatives, reflecting both the artistic and cultural value of his photography.

Beyond photography, Griseld continues to expand into videography and creative collaborations, constantly evolving his visual language while staying true to a minimal and authentic aesthetic.
